Living on the Bodrum Peninsula,
I found myself entirely captivated by a geologically diverse landscape, from rugged beaches to volcanic formations and towering mountains. This tactile odyssey led me to clay, which serves not only as a creative medium but also as a tangible link to a complex array of underlying minerals
Fascinated by scientific theories positing that life emerged from clay-rich environments favorable for complex chemical reactions, I find myself transforming this basic material into fantastical forms of life.
As I shape this earthly substance into beings that vibrate in their unique, non-human ways, I am challenging both myself and others to broaden our perceptions of sensing, feeling, and ultimately, being.
